Comfort circuit to the cordillera huayhuash
Day 01. Start of the circuit in Huaraz
FRANPISCO ADVENTURE staff waiting: at Jorge Chavez airport. Then we transfer you to the public bus terminal to travel to the city of Huaraz, the trip takes about 8 hours. Once we arrive in Huaraz we transfer you to the hotel. There is also the possibility of traveling by plane from Lima to Anta - Huaraz. Flight times every day of the week Lima to Anta - Huaraz 7:30 am, Anta to Lima at 9:15 am. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays Lima to Anta 11:15 am and Anta to Lima 1:14 pm.

Day 02. Acclimatization in the Andes Peru - Cordillera Blanca
Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am. To the Lake Paron tour 4,250 masl heading north guided by an official tourism guide and tourist transport. During the tour, the province of Carhuaz is visited, known as the city of ice cream, Yungay (Campo Santo), Caraz sweetness known for the production of manjar blanco, then heads to Lake Paron. We stay here for about 3 to 4 hours to take advantage of going up to the lake viewpoint and boat or kayak rides in Lake Paron. Then return at 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the afternoon to Huaraz (hotel).
Day 03. Full day Lake Rocutuyoc (4450 masl) – Cordillera Blanca Peru
Departure from Huaraz at 6:00 am. To the Lake Rocutuyoc tour 4,450 masl heading north guided by our official tourism guide and tourist transport. During the tour, the Cashapunta viewpoint is visited, from which the entire valley of the Vicos community and the Cordillera Blanca is shown, Ruripaccha waterfall, cave paintings, Rocutuyoc lake, frozen lake and Ruripaccha glacier 4,650 masl. The tour takes about 9 to 10 hours. Return 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the afternoon to Huaraz hotel.
Day 04. Free day
This day we consider a free day as a precaution for altitude and to regain energy before starting the Cordillera Huayhuash circuit.

Day 05. Transfer Huaraz (3100m) - Chiquian - Cuartelwain (4180 masl)
At 8:00 am we stop by your hotels to board private transport and head to Cuartelwain for 5 hours. where the donkeys and muleteers await us to carry the camping equipment, our first camp is in Cuartelwain at 4180 masl which will help us with good acclimatization to continue the trekking through one of the best circuits in the Andes Peru.

Day 06. Cuartelwain (4180m) – Mitucocha (4230m)
After breakfast at 8:00 am we start trekking passing through the first pass Cacananpunta 4,700 masl where we will observe Lake Pucacocha, Yanacocha and the Queropalca valley which already belongs to the Huanuco region, after the pass we descend to the Jancapampa camp 4,230 masl where we will have a view of the beautiful mountains Ninashanca 5,607 masl, Rondoy 5,870 masl, Jirishanca Grande 6,094 masl and Jirishanca Chico 5446 masl.

Day 07. Mitucocha (4,230 masl) - Carhuacocha (4,280 masl)
We will have breakfast at 7:00 am then to start the walk through the Jancapampa valley and passing through the second pass Carhuac 4,650 masl. Now, if the groups have good acclimatization and that passion for adventure, we will take the alternative path to the viewpoint of three lakes; after enjoying the beautiful view from the viewpoint we descend to the camp to continue with the beautiful views of the mountains Carnicero 5,960 masl, Siula mountain 6,344 masl, Yerupaja mountain 6,634 masl and El Toro mountain 6121 masl.

Day 08. Carhuacocha (4,280 masl) - Huayhuash (4,300 masl)
We will have breakfast very early at 6:00 am because it is the day with the most difficulty, where we walk between 08 to 09 hours (approx). The path leads us between the stream and the lakes to the viewpoint, where we observe the three lakes of different colors such as Lake Siulacocha, Lake Ganrajanca and Lake Azulcocha. From the viewpoint, it takes two hours to reach the Siula pass 4,800 masl where the mountains Carnicero 5,960 masl, Jurao 5,600 masl, Trapecio 5,644 masl and the Leon Dormido mountain, which already belongs to the Cordillera Raura, are observed; after the pass we descend to the Huayhuash camp.

Day 09. Huayhuash (4,350 masl) - Viconga (4,330 masl)
Our breakfast will be at 7:00 am to start the trekking plan at 7:30 am. It is the calmest day of the trekking, where we reach the Portachuelo pass 4,750 masl. From here we will have a great beautiful view of the Cordillera Raura located between the Huanuco and Lima regions; after the pass we go down towards Lake Viconga passing along the shore of the lake, immediately the pools next to the Viconga camp (guñoc) are observed. In a few more minutes we arrive at the camp and hot springs, one of the most appreciated camps for its 100% natural waters. After settling into our tents, we will have enough time to take advantage of enjoying the pools.

Day 10. Viconga (4,330 masl)- Cuyocpampa (4,550 masl)
Breakfast at 7:00 am to start the walk at 7:30 am, the climb along a slightly steep path to the Cuyoc pass 5,000 masl. From the pass, the entirety of the Cordillera Raura and the Cordillera Huayhuash can be observed; after the pass we go down to the Cuyocpampa camp for lunch. After lunch, if we have good time and weather, we will take the opportunity to go up to the San Antonio viewpoint 5,120 m to enjoy the radiant sunset sun at the top, then we return to the camp. In the extra ascent to San Antonio we will have an additional time of approximately 4 hours.

Day 11. Cuyocpampa (4,550 masl) - Huayllapa (3,630 masl)
Earlier breakfast at 6:00 am to start the trekking plan at 6:30 am and be able to enjoy the radiant sunrise sun at the Santa Rosa pass 5,080 masl. From the pass we will have an incredible view of the north face of the Cordillera Huayhuash; after enjoying the beautiful view we go down through Lake Jurao and the Calinca valley until reaching the town of Huayllapa, camp, optionally here you can sleep in a guest house and be able to take advantage of charging batteries, taking a warm shower and taking advantage of internet connection (wifi).

Day 12. Huayllapa (3,630 masl) - Gashpapampa (4,550 masl)
Breakfast at 7:00 am. then to start climbing an altitude gain of 1,170 m to the Tapush pass 4,800 masl, the path leads us slightly steep to the Tapush pass, then when descending from the pass the famous Diablo Mudo peak 5,350 masl is observed on the right side, in approximately 1 hour you reach the Gashpapampa camp. (Diablo Mudo base camp)

Day 13. Gashpapampa (4,550 masl) - Lake Jahuacocha (4,100 masl)
Penultimate day of trekking, breakfast plan at 6:30 am. We start the walk for about 30 minutes downhill to start the climb to the Yaucha pass 4,800 masl, after the pass we head to the Huacrish viewpoint where we will observe an incredible panorama of Lake Jahuacocha, Solteracocha and the peaks of the most famous mountains of the Cordillera Huayhuash. After enjoying the beautiful view, we go down to the Jahuacocha camp where we spend the last night of trekking.

Day 14. Jahuacocha (4,100 masl) - Llamac (3,300 masl)
Last day of trekking, we will have breakfast very early, to leave early and be able to advance before the heat hits on the descent to Llamac, the trekking starts all flat for about 50 minutes then we take the irrigation canal to the Pampa Llamac pass 3900 m, finally we descend to the town of Llamac where the transport awaits us for transfer to the city of Huaraz – hotel.

30 minutes before boarding we transfer you to the public bus terminal in the city of Huaraz to Lima – hotel.
Flight Lima – to country of origin
This day, 3 hours before your flight, we transfer you from the hotel to the airport, end of our services.

We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.

- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
