Chile is a long and narrow country that stretches along the western edge of South America. Chile mainly has two large longitudinal mountain ranges, the Andes Mountains (to the east) and the Coastal Range (to the west), separated by the Intermediate Depression, in addition to multiple transverse mountain systems, especially in the north, which make the Chilean relief very varied and mountainous. Chile has a population of almost 20 million to date, its currency is the Chilean peso, its capital Santiago is located in a valley surrounded by the Andes and the Coastal Range. In the palm-lined Plaza de Armas of the city, you will find the neoclassical cathedral and the National History Museum.
