Argentina

Argentina is a large South American country with terrain that includes the Andes mountains, glacial lakes, and pampas grasslands. Argentina has a single main mountain range, the Andes, which is the longest in the world, but within it there are multiple branches and important mountain chains such as the Frontal Range, the Pre-cordillera, the Eastern Range, and the Patagonian and Fuegian Andes, forming a complex mountain system that defines the west of the country. Argentina has a population of nearly 46 million to date. Its capital is Buenos Aires, its currency the Argentine peso, and it is the traditional grazing land of its famous cattle. The country is known for tango dance and music. Its great cosmopolitan capital, Buenos Aires, centers on the Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by imposing 19th-century buildings like the Casa Rosada, the iconic presidential palace. The most famous mountain in America, Aconcagua, is located there with a height of 6961 masl.
