Santa cruz trekking standard - cordillera blanca 07 days / 06 nights

To carry out these beautiful adventures, you first arrive in the capital of Peru, Lima. The same day you can travel by public bus to the north, to the city of Huaraz 3100 m. The trip takes about 8 hours. There is also the possibility of traveling by plane from Lima to Anta - Ancash. Flight times every day of the week Lima to Anta - Huaraz at 7:30 am, and Anta to Lima at 9:15 am. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Lima to Anta at 11:15 am and Anta to Lima at 1:14 pm. To enjoy this beautiful adventure, at least 2 days of acclimation are recommended.

Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am for the Pastoruri tour at 4,450 m, heading south guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. During the tour, we visit carbonated waters, puma's eye water, cave paintings, Puya Raimondi, the glacier, and the Pastoruri lakes at 5,200 m. Then return between 6:00 and 7:00 pm in the evening to the Huaraz hotel.

Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am for the Chavín de Huántar tour at 3,137 m, heading south guided by an official tour guide and in tourist transport. During the tour, we visit Querococha lake at 3,980 m, the archaeological site of Chavín, and the Chavín de Huántar museum. After the tour, return between 6:00 and 7:00 pm in the evening to the Huaraz hotel.

At 5:30 am, we pick you up at your hotels to embark on private transport for 2 hours, where we stop for breakfast. Then we continue the journey passing through the Huascarán National Park control to pay the entrance tickets, past the Llanganuco lakes and through the Portachuelo de Llanganuco pass at 4,760 m. After one more hour of travel, we arrive at Vaquería where the donkeys and muleteer await us to transport the trekking equipment and start the hike to Paria camp at 3,900 m for dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at 7:00 am, then to start the hike through the Huaripampa valley passing by the Tsaquicocha and Morococha lakes, up to the Punta Unión pass at 4,750 m. From here, the Taulliraju mountain (5,830 m) is shown very close, as well as a beautiful view of the Santa Cruz gorge with the Jatuncocha lake in the background. Then we descend along a zigzag path to the Taullipampa camp at 4,250 m.

Breakfast at 7:00 am, then the hike begins through the Santa Cruz valley, climbing to the Alpamayo base camp and Arhuaycocha lake at 4,460 m. After visiting these beautiful places, we descend towards the Llamacoral camp to share the last dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at 7:00 am, then to start the last descent through the Santa Cruz valley and exit the Huascarán National Park along the Yurakmayu river to the town of Cashapampa at 2,900 m. Here the transport awaits for the transfer to the city of Huaraz hotel.
