Pisco Mountain 5,752 Masl. Cordillera Blanca – Peru
Pisco Mountain 5,752 masl. It is a beautiful mountain known as the balcony of the Andes, located in the Cordillera Blanca, within the Huascarán National Park, which is part of the Peruvian Andes. To climb this beautiful mountain, a few days of acclimation are recommended. The ascent begins demandingly for 2 and a half hours from the base camp through loose rocks up to the glacier. The mountain is not technical, but the glacier is long, taking about four hours to reach the summit.
Day 01. Huaraz Cebollapampa (3900 Masl) – Pisco Base Camp (4680 Masl)
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart at 7:30 am in private transport from Huaraz to Cebollapampa. From here, we begin to climb up a path all the way to the Pisco base camp at 4,680 masl (Camping). The ascent takes about 4 to 5 hours. Once we arrive at the camp, we will have an early dinner to rest for the next day.
Day 02. Base Camp (4680 Masl) – Pisco Summit (5752 Masl)
At 1:00 am, we have coffee or very hot infusions to start the ascent for about 3 hours along a moraine path among rocks until reaching the glacier. After 3 to 4 hours on the glacier, we reach the summit of Nevado Pisco at 5,752 masl. From the summit, a spectacular view of the most famous mountains of the Cordillera Blanca is revealed. After the summit, return to the base camp (camp); the day's expedition takes about 13 to 14 hours.
Day 03. Base Camp (4680 Masl) – Huaraz (3100 Masl) Hotel
After breakfast at 8:00 am, return from the base camp to Cebollapampa. Here the transport waits to return to the city of Huaraz - hotel.

Booking Conditions
We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.
The remaining 60% will be paid in Huaraz after you have checked into your hotel. To begin the organization of your expeditions, please contact us for more information.
There are 02 rescue units in Huaraz
- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
- Casa de Guías Rescue Unit, based in the city of Huaraz (Parque Ginebra s/n). The rescue cost must be budgeted beforehand, and if a helicopter is required, it will also be necessary to pay for the service in advance. Website: agmp.pe
