Best Mountain Climbing Option in the Peruvian Andes – South America

Mountains: Urus 5494 masl, Ishinca 5350 masl, and Tocllaraju 6030 masl. The peaks of Tocllaraju, Ishinca, and Urus are located in the Ancash region, Cordillera Blanca, within the Huascaran National Park. These mountains are very popular and frequent for climbing enthusiasts as the three peaks are located in the same valley of Ishinca. Urus and Ishinca are simpler mountains that serve as preparation, especially for acclimation, before ascending Tocllaraju due to its technical and demanding level.
