Discover Peru and Bolivia: 19-Day Comfort Journey
Day 01. Arrival from country of origin to Cusco (3400 masl)
Personalized greeting by Franpisco Adventure at Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport – Cusco, Peru. Transfer to a 3-star hotel for your comfort. NOTE: By early 2028, the new Chinchero International Airport will be operational.
Day 02. City Tour – Sacsayhuaman – Cusco
The tour begins at 12:30 pm with a hotel pick-up. We explore the Imperial City, visiting the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the Santo Domingo Convent. Outside the city, we visit the impressive Sacsayhuaman, followed by the sacred sites of Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Cusco, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the archaeological capital of America and the heart of the Inca Empire.
Day 03. Full Day Sacred Valley VIP – Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu
Pick up at 6:30 am. We visit Chinchero, the Maras salt mines (over 3,000 pools), and the circular agricultural terraces of Moray. After a buffet lunch in the valley, we visit Ollantaytambo, the 'living Inca city,' before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 04. Machu Picchu Tour – Cusco
Early breakfast and bus transfer to the Machu Picchu entrance. Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour of this world wonder, followed by free time. Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and take the afternoon Expedition Train back to Ollantaytambo, then a van to Cusco. The train features panoramic windows and Andean music.
Day 05. Free Day – Cusco
A free day to rest, enjoy Cusco's renowned gastronomy, and shop for souvenirs.
Day 06. Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley – Cusco
Departure at 5:00 am to Cusipata for breakfast. We drive to Phullawasipata (3700 m) and hike for 1.5 hours to Vinicunca (5100 masl). Enjoy the views of the 7-colored mountain and return via the stunning Red Valley. Return to Cusco around 5:00 pm.
Puno Tour - Peru
Day 07. Sleeper Bus Cusco to Puno
Transfer to the terminal for the bus to Puno. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Optional walk near Lake Titicaca to observe local birdlife.
Day 08. Uros Floating Islands – Taquile – Puno
Boat trip to the Uros Floating Islands to learn about totora reed construction. Continue to Taquile Island for a traditional dance welcome and a local lunch. Return to Puno around 6:00 pm.
Bolivia Andes Tour
Day 09. Puno – Copacabana, Bolivia
Private transfer to Copacabana, Bolivia, including border immigration procedures (approx. 6 hours). Visit Lake Titicaca surroundings and the Santa Cruz Sanctuary on Cabuyal Hill.
Day 10. Copacabana – Sun Island – La Paz
Boat trip to Sun Island (Isla del Sol) to visit archaeological ruins. After lunch, return to Copacabana and take the bus to La Paz (approx. 4 hours).
Day 11. Free Day in La Paz
Free day to explore La Paz. Highly recommended to take the cable car (teleférico) for views of the city and Mount Illimani.
Pico Austria 5350m, Tarija 5360m & Pequeño Alpamayo 5410m – Condoriri
Day 12. La Paz - Chiar Khota Lake – Base Camp (4680 masl)
3-hour drive to Rinconada. Mules or porters will carry equipment. 2-hour hike to the base camp at Chiar Khota Lake.
Day 13. Chiar Khota Lake - Pico Austria (5350 masl) - Base Camp
Acclimatization ascent to Pico Austria. The route follows a moraine to the summit. 7-8 hour expedition.
Day 14. Cerro Tarija (5370 masl) – Pequeño Alpamayo (5410 masl) - La Paz
Start at 2:00 am to climb Cerro Tarija, then cross to Pequeño Alpamayo. 9-10 hour day. Return to La Paz in the afternoon.
Day 15. Free Day in La Paz
Rest day to recover energy and explore the city further.
Huayna Potosi 6088m – Cordillera Real, Bolivia
Day 16. La Paz – Base Camp (4800 masl)
Drive to the Huayna Potosi refuge (4680 masl). Preparation day.
Day 17. Base Camp – High Camp (5280 masl)
2-3 hour ascent to the high refuge. Gear preparation for the summit push.
Day 18. High Camp - Huayna Potosi Summit (6088 masl) - La Paz
Summit push starting at 2:00 am. Enjoy panoramic views of the Bolivian Andes. Return to base camp and then transfer to La Paz.
Day 19. Flight from El Alto Airport to Country of Origin
Transfer to the airport 4 hours before your flight. End of services.

Booking Conditions
We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.
The remaining 60% will be paid in Huaraz after you have checked into your hotel. To begin the organization of your expeditions, please contact us for more information.
There are 02 rescue units in Huaraz
- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
- Casa de Guías Rescue Unit, based in the city of Huaraz (Parque Ginebra s/n). The rescue cost must be budgeted beforehand, and if a helicopter is required, it will also be necessary to pay for the service in advance. Website: agmp.pe
