Day 01. From country of origin to Lima (161 masl) Peru – Huaraz (3100 m)

Personalized wait by FRANPISCO ADVENTURE at Jorge Chavez Airport. Then we transfer you to the public bus terminal to travel to the city of Huaraz; the journey takes about 8 hours. Once we arrive in Huaraz, we transfer you to the hotel. There is also the possibility of traveling by plane from Lima to Anta - Huaraz. Flight times every day of the week from Lima to Anta - Huaraz are 7:30 am, and Anta to Lima at 9:15 am; on Tuesdays and Thursdays Lima to Anta at 11:15 am and Anta to Lima at 1:14 pm. You can manage this yourself.

Acclimatization days in Cordillera Blanca. (Also possible to change for another tour of your choice)
Day 02. Full day Paron Lake (4250 masl) – Cordillera Blanca Peru

Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am to the Paron Lake tour (4,250 masl) heading north, guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. During the tour, we visit Carhuaz province (known as the city of ice cream), Yungay (Campo Santo), and Caraz (known for manjar blanco production), then head to Paron Lake. We stay here for about 3 to 4 hours to climb to the lake viewpoint and enjoy boat or kayak rides. Return to Huaraz (hotel) between 6:00 and 7:00 pm.

Day 03. Full day Rocutuyoc Lake (4450 masl) – Cordillera Blanca Peru

Departure from Huaraz at 6:00 am to the Rocutuyoc Lake tour (4,450 masl) heading north, guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. On the way, we visit the Cashapunta viewpoint, which shows the entire Vicos valley and the Cordillera Blanca, Ruripaccha waterfall, cave paintings, Rocutuyoc Lake, the frozen lake, and Ruripaccha glacier (4,650 masl). The tour takes about 9 to 10 hours. Return to Huaraz hotel between 6:00 and 7:00 pm.

Day 04. Huaraz (3100m) - Cuartelwain (4180 masl) - Mitucocha (4280 masl)

At 5:00 am, we pick you up from your hotels for private transport, traveling for about 2.5 hours to the first stop for breakfast, then continuing to Cuartelwain for another 2 hours. Here, muleteers with donkeys await us to start the Huayhuash trek, crossing the first pass, Cacananpunta (4700 masl). From the pass, we descend to the first camp, Jancapampa (Mitucocha). From the camp, we will continue enjoying the beautiful panorama of the Peruvian Andes.

Day 05. Mitucocha (4230 masl) - Carhuacocha (4280 masl)

Second day: At 7:00 am, after breakfast, we begin the walk through the Janca valley, crossing the second pass, Carhuac (4,650 masl). If the group is well-acclimatized and adventurous, we will take the alternative path to the Three Lakes viewpoint. After enjoying the view, we descend to camp with beautiful views of Mount Carnicero (5,960 masl), Mount Siula (6,344 masl), Mount Yerupaja (6,634 masl), and Mount Toro (6121 masl).

Day 06. Carhuacocha (4280 masl) - Huayhuash (4350 masl)

Today we have breakfast early at 6:00 am. This is the most demanding day of the trek, walking between 08 to 09 hours (approx). The path leads us between streams and lagoons to the viewpoint, where three lagoons of different colors can be observed: Siulacocha, Ganrajanca, and Quesillacocha. From the viewpoint, it takes about two hours to reach the Siula pass (4,800 masl). Here we see Mount Carnicero (5,960 masl), Jurao (5,600 masl), and Trapecio (5,644 masl). To the East, Mount Leon Dormido (5400 masl) of the Raura range is visible.

Day 07. Huayhuash (4350 masl) – Hot Springs (Guñoc) (4330 masl)

Breakfast at 7:00 am to start the walk between the Trapecio and Putscanturpa mountains up to the Portachuelo pass (4750 masl). From here, Mount Leon Dormido in the Raura range is seen very closely. We descend through the Pumarinri gorge to Viconga Lake, where we find 100% natural pools. Before lunch, we will enjoy a bath in the hot springs. Then we board our transport for the transfer to Lima (via Cajatambo), which takes about 8 to 9 hours.

Day 08. Free day in Lima

This free day can be used to visit tourist sites in the Miraflores district and enjoy its gastronomy before returning to the hotel.

Tours in Cusco – Peru
Day 09. Flight Lima – Cusco – City tours - Hotel

3 hours before your flight, we transfer you from the hotel to the airport for Cusco. We wait at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. It is recommended to buy a flight departing between 7:00 and 8:00 am to take advantage of the CITY TOUR the same day. Our tour starts at 12:30 pm, picking you up from your hotel to start the tour of the imperial city. Highlights include the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel at the end.

Day 10. Full day Sacred Valley VIP

Pick up at 06:30 am. We visit Chincheros, the Maras Salt Mines (over 3,000 small pools), and the agricultural center of Moray with its circular terraces. After a buffet lunch in the valley, we head to Ollantaytambo, the living Inca city. Here we board the tourist train to the town of Machu Picchu and our hotel.

Day 11. Cusco - Full day Machu Picchu – Cusco – Hotel

Early breakfast and bus to the Machu Picchu entrance. Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided tour and cultural exchange about the history of the citadel. Free time for photos, then return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. In the afternoon, take the Expedition train back to Ollantaytambo and a van to Cusco city hotel. Note: Advise in advance if you wish to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.

Tours in Puno – Peru
Day 12. Bus from Cusco – Puno Hotel

After breakfast, transfer around 8:00 am by bus to the city of Puno. Once settled in the hotel, you will have time to visit the city. The journey takes 6 hours and 30 minutes.

Day 13. Uros Islands Tour – Taquile – Puno – Hotel

Transfer to the port to sail to the Uros Floating Islands, built with totora reeds. The journey continues to Taquile Island, where you will be received with traditional dance and a country lunch. This experience connects you with millennial traditions and natural beauty. Return to Puno hotel around 6:00 pm.

Day 14. Puno – Lima – Hotel

After breakfast, transfer to Juliaca to fly to Lima. We will be waiting at the airport to transfer you to the hotel in Miraflores.

Day 15. Flight – Lima – Country of origin

3 hours before your flight, we transfer you to the airport for your journey home. End of our services.

We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.

This reservation will cover the following:

  1. Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
  2. Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
  3. Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
  4. Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.

There are 02 rescue units in Huaraz
  1. National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
