Day 01. Arrival from country of origin to Lima Peru (100 m) – Huaraz 3100 m
To begin the beautiful Huayhuash mountain range trek, first travel to the capital of Peru, Lima. The same day you can travel by public bus heading north to the city of Huaraz (3100 m). The trip takes about 8 hours. There is also the possibility of traveling by plane from Lima to Anta - Ancash. Flight times every day of the week: Lima to Anta - Huaraz at 7:30 am, Anta to Lima at 9:15 am. On Tuesdays and Thursdays: Lima to Anta at 11:15 am, Anta – Lima at 1:15 pm. If you are traveling only for vacations to enjoy these beautiful programs, we recommend at least 2 days of acclimation; if you have been traveling through different countries around the world, acclimation days in Huaraz might no longer be necessary.
Acclimation days in Cordillera Blanca. It is also possible to change for another tour of your choice.
Day 02. Tours in Huaraz - Pastoruri Glacier (4900 m) – Cordillera Blanca Peru
For this beautiful tour, have breakfast peacefully at the hotel, then depart from Huaraz at 8:30 am for the Pastoruri tour (4,900 m), heading south guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. Passing through the towns of Recuay, Ticapampa, Catac, and Pachacoto—where the Catac peasant community control is located to pay the S/. 25.00 fee per person—we continue the journey visiting carbonated waters, puma's eye water, cave paintings, Puya Raimondi, the glacier, and the Pastoruri lake at 5,200 m. After enjoying these beautiful places, we return for lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch, we return to the city of Huaraz around 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Final stop at the city's main square.

Day 03. Tours in Huaraz - Chavín de Huántar archaeological site – Ancash
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then depart Huaraz at 8:30 am for the Chavín de Huántar tour (3,137 m), heading south guided by an official tour guide in tourist transport. During the tour, we pass through the towns of Ticapampa and Catac, then arrive at Querococha Lake (3,980 m), where we will have a 30-minute stop for photos and videos. We continue the journey through the Cahuish tunnel, descending to the Chavín archaeological site and the Chavín de Huántar museum. Once at the site, we will have about 2 hours of explanations from the guide, then visit the museum, and finally head to lunch at one of the best local restaurants to enjoy the gastronomy of the Conchucos Valley. After lunch, we return to Huaraz, arriving around 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Final stop at the city's main square.

Day 04. Huaraz (3100m) Cuartelwain (4180 m) - Mitucocha (4280 m)
At 5:00 am, we pick you up from your hotels to board private transport for about 2 and a half hours until the first breakfast stop, then continue to Cuartelwain for another 2 hours. Here the muleteers await us with donkeys to start the Huayhuash trek, crossing the first pass, Cacananpunta (4,700 m). From the pass, we descend to the first camp, Jancapampa (Mitucocha). From the camp, we will continue enjoying the beautiful panoramic view of the Peruvian Andes.
Day Information
Day 05. Mitucocha (4230 m) - Carhuacocha (4280 m)
Second day at 7:00 am. After breakfast, we begin the hike through the Janca valley, crossing the second pass, Carhuac (4,650 m). If the groups have good acclimation and a passion for adventure, we will take the alternate route to the three lakes viewpoint. After enjoying the beautiful view from the viewpoint, we descend to the camp to continue with views of the mountains: Carnicero (5,960 m), Siula (6,344 m), Yerupajá (6,634 m), and Toro (6,121 m).

Day 06. Carhuacocha (4280 m) - Huayhuash (4350 m)
Today we have breakfast very early at 6:00 am; it is the most demanding day of the trek, walking approximately 8 to 9 hours. The path leads us between streams and lakes up to the viewpoint, where three lakes of different colors can be observed: Siulacocha, Ganrajanca, and Quesillacocha. About two hours from the viewpoint, we reach the Siula pass (4,800 m). From there, you can see the mountains: Carnicero (5,960 m), Jurao (5,600 m), and Trapecio (5,644 m). To the east of the Siula pass, you can see the León Dormido mountain (5,400 m), which belongs to the Raura mountain range in Lima.
Day Information
Day 07. Huayhuash (4350 m) – Hot Springs (Guñoc) (4330 m)
Breakfast at 7:00 am to start the hike between the Trapecio and Putscanturpa mountains up to the Portachuelo pass (4,750 m). From here, the León Dormido mountain, located within the Raura range, can be seen very closely. After enjoying the beautiful mountains, we continue down the Pumarinri gorge to Viconga Lake. We pass around this lake and immediately see the 100% natural pools. Before lunch, we will enjoy bathing in the hot springs. Then we have lunch and board our transport for transfer to the city of Cajatambo – hotel. End of our services. Also, if you wish to save a day and not sleep in Cajatambo, with prior coordination, we can help you hire private transport directly from the hot springs (Guñoc) to Lima (option to Barranca).

OPTIONAL DAY 08. RETURN FROM CAJATAMBO – LIMA
Today you return from Cajatambo to Lima on your own, either by minibus or a 50-passenger bus. With prior coordination, we can help you buy bus tickets from Cajatambo to Lima, or we can arrange a private transfer to avoid waiting for scheduled public buses.

Booking Conditions
We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.

- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
