Cordillera Huayhuash 360 Trekking
Day 01: Arrival in Lima, Peru (161m) – Huaraz (3,100m)
We will be waiting for you at Jorge Chávez Airport for your transfer to the public bus terminal, followed by an 8-hour journey to the city of Huaraz. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel. Alternatively, there is an option to fly from Lima to Anta-Huaraz. Daily flights depart Lima at 7:30 AM and return from Anta at 9:15 AM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, additional flights depart Lima at 11:15 AM and return at 1:15 PM.
Free Day in Huaraz – Hotel
Day 02: Free Day (Optional Puka Ventana Trek - 3,500m)
This day is reserved for rest and altitude acclimatization before starting the Cordillera Huayhuash circuit. You have the option to join the Puka Ventana trek, exploring the scenic outskirts and viewpoints overlooking the city of Huaraz.

Day 03: Transfer Huaraz (3,100m) - Chiquián - Cuartelwain (4,180m)
At 8:00 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel in private transport for a 5-hour drive to Cuartelwain. Here, our donkeys and muleteers will be waiting to carry the camping equipment. Our first campsite is at Cuartelwain (4,180m), which provides excellent acclimatization as we prepare for one of the most stunning trekking circuits in the Peruvian Andes.

Day 04: Cuartelwain (4,180m) – Mitucocha (4,230m)
After breakfast at 8:00 AM, we begin our trek by crossing the first pass, Cacananpunta (4,700m). From here, we will view Pucacocha Lake, Yanacocha, and the Queropalca Valley in the Huánuco region. We kemudian descend to the Mitucocha campsite (4,230m), offering spectacular views of Ninashanca (5,607m), Rondoy (5,870m), Jirishanca Grande (6,094m), and Jirishanca Chico (5,446m).

Day 05: Mitucocha (4,230m) - Carhuacocha (4,280m)
Breakfast will be served at 7:00 AM. We start our hike through the Jancapampa Valley, crossing the second pass, Carhuac (4,650m). If the group is well-acclimatized and seeking adventure, we can take an alternative route to the Three Lakes viewpoint. After enjoying the vista, we descend to camp while admiring the peaks of Carnicero (5,960m), Siula (6,344m), Yerupaja (6,634m), and Toro (6,121m).

Day 06: Carhuacocha (4,280m) - Huayhuash (4,300m)
We have an early breakfast at 6:00 AM as this is our most challenging day, involving 8 to 9 hours of trekking. The trail follows streams and lakes to a spectacular viewpoint overlooking three multi-colored lagoons: Siulacocha, Ganrajanca, and Azulcocha. Two hours from the viewpoint, we reach Siula Pass (4,800m) with views of Carnicero (5,960m), Jurao (5,600m), Trapecio (5,644m), and León Dormido in the Raura range. We then descend to the Huayhuash campsite.

Day 07: Huayhuash (4,350m) - Viconga (4,330m)
After breakfast at 7:00 AM, we begin the most relaxed day of the trek at 7:30 AM. We reach Portachuelo Pass (4,750m), offering stunning views of the Raura range on the border of Huánuco and Lima. We descend to Viconga Lake and proceed to the Viconga (Guñoc) campsite. This site is highly prized for its 100% natural hot springs. After settling into our tents, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the thermal pools.

Day 08: Viconga (4,330m) - Cuyocpampa (4,550m)
Breakfast at 7:00 AM. We start our hike at 7:30 AM with a steady climb to Cuyoc Pass (5,000m), which offers panoramic views of both the Raura and Huayhuash ranges. We then descend to Cuyocpampa for lunch. Weather permitting, we will hike up to the San Antonio viewpoint (5,120m) to enjoy the late afternoon sun from the summit before returning to camp. This extra ascent takes approximately 4 hours.

Day 09: Cuyocpampa (4,550m) - Huayllapa (3,630m)
An early breakfast at 6:00 AM allows us to start trekking by 6:30 AM to catch the morning sun at Santa Rosa Pass (5,080m). This pass offers an incredible view of the north face of the Cordillera Huayhuash. We descend past Jurao Lake and through the Calinca Valley to the village of Huayllapa. Optional: You may choose to stay in a guesthouse here to recharge batteries, take a warm shower, and access Wi-Fi.

Day 10: Huayllapa (3,630m) - Gashpapampa (4,550m)
Breakfast at 7:00 AM, followed by a 1,170m ascent to Tapush Pass (4,800m). The trail is moderately steep. Descending from the pass, you will see the famous Diablo Mudo peak (5,350m) on your right. We reach the Gashpapampa campsite (the base camp for Diablo Mudo) in approximately one hour.

Day 11: Gashpapampa (4,550m) - Jahuacocha Lake (4,100m)
On our penultimate trekking day, breakfast is at 6:30 AM. We begin with a 30-minute descent before climbing to Yaucha Pass (4,800m). From the pass, we head to the Huacrish viewpoint for an incredible panorama of Jahuacocha and Solteracocha lakes, along with the most famous peaks of the Huayhuash range. Finally, we descend to our last campsite at Jahuacocha.

Day 12: Jahuacocha (4,100m) - Llamac (3,300m)
On our final trekking day, we have an early breakfast to beat the heat on the descent to Llamac. The trail starts across flat plains for 50 minutes before following an irrigation canal to Pampa Llamac Pass (3,900m). We then descend to the village of Llamac, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to our hotel in Huaraz.

Day 13: Huaraz – Lima
We will transfer you to the public bus terminal in Huaraz 30 minutes before departure for your journey back to your hotel in Lima.
Day 14: Flight Lima – Home Country
Three hours prior to your flight, we will transfer you from your hotel to the airport. End of our services.

Booking Conditions
We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.

There are 02 rescue units in Huaraz
- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
- Casa de Guías Rescue Unit, based in the city of Huaraz (Parque Ginebra s/n). The rescue cost must be budgeted beforehand, and if a helicopter is required, it will also be necessary to pay for the service in advance. Website: agmp.pe
