Los cedros alpamayo trekking standard - cordillera blanca 11 days / 10 nights
Day 01. From country of origin to Lima (161 m) Peru – Huaraz (3100 m)
You arrive during the day in the capital of Peru, Lima. The same day you can travel by public bus to the north, to the city of Huaraz 3100 m. The trip takes about 8 hours. There is also the possibility of traveling by plane from Lima to Anta - Ancash. Flight times every day of the week Lima to Anta - Huaraz 7:30 am Anta to Lima at 9:15 am. On Tuesdays and Thursdays Lima to Anta 11:15 am Anta – Lima 1:14 pm. If you are traveling only for vacations to enjoy these beautiful programs, we recommend a minimum of 2 days of acclimation. If you are already traveling through different countries in the Andes, the acclimation days indicated below are no longer necessary.

Day 02. Full day Parón Lake (4250 m) – Cordillera Blanca Peru
Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am for the Parón Lake tour at 4,250 m, heading north guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. During the tour, we visit the province of Carhuaz, known as the city of ice cream, Yungay (Campo Santo), and Caraz Dulzura, known for the production of manjar blanco, then head to Parón Lake. We stay here for about 3 to 4 hours to take advantage of climbing to the lake's viewpoint and taking boat or kayak rides on the lake. Then return between 6:00 and 7:00 pm in the evening to Huaraz (hotel).

Day 03. Full day Rocutuyoc Lake (4450 m) – Cordillera Blanca Peru
Departure from Huaraz at 6:00 am for the Rocutuyoc Lake tour at 4,450 m, heading north guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. During the tour, we visit the Cashapunta viewpoint, from where the entire Vicos valley and the Cordillera Blanca are shown, the Ruripaccha waterfall, cave paintings, Rocutuyoc Lake, the frozen lake, and the Ruripaccha glacier at 4,650 m. The tour takes about 9 to 10 hours. Return between 6:00 and 7:00 pm in the evening to the Huaraz hotel.

Day 04. Huaraz (3100) – Vaquería – Paria (3900 m)
At 5:00 am, we pick you up at the hotel to embark on private transport to begin the 2-hour journey to the first stop for breakfast in Humacchuco. After breakfast, we continue the journey for 3 hours to Vaquería, where the donkeys and muleteer await us to transport the trekking equipment and start the hike to Paria camp at 3,900 m.

Day 05. Tuctu (4200 m) - Huecruncocha (3850 m)
Breakfast at 7:00 am to start the trekking, climbing up a zigzag path towards the Pukaraju high pass at 4,650 m, where we will have a phenomenal view of the Taulliraju mountains and the Pukaraju high mountain very close. Then we descend along a zigzag path towards the Huecruncocha camp for dinner and sleep.

Day 06. Huecruncocha (3850 m) – Jancapampa (3700 m)
After breakfast at 8:00 am, the hike begins through the Quisuar valley across a plain for about 2 hours, then we start to climb gradually towards the Tupa Tupa pass at 4,400 m. After the pass, we descend towards the Jancapampa camp, called by local people (Pishgopampa). Along the way, we will enjoy the agriculture and customs of the Conchucos valley part of the Ancash region. The hike takes about 8 hours. We arrive at the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 07. Jancapampa (3700 m) – Wilca (4150 m)
This day we will have breakfast at 6:00 am to start the trekking very early, around 6:30 am, then begin the ascent through bushes towards the Yanacon pass at 4,600 m, where the entire Conchucos valley can be observed. After the view, we descend towards the Wilca camp for dinner and to rest for the next day.

Day 08. Willca (4200 m) – Jancarurish (4250 m)
At 7:00 am, after breakfast, we start the hike up the Tayapampa gorge, enjoying the North face of the Alpamayo mountain towards the Cara Cara pass at 4,800 m. From the pass, we will enjoy the beautiful Alpamayo mountain, then continue descending to Jancarurish camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 09. Jancarurish (4250 m) - Osoruri (4,380 m)
After breakfast at 7:00 am, the hike begins through the Los Cedros Alpamayo gorge, then we climb a zigzag path towards the Vientunan pass at 4,790 m, where a panoramic view of Los Cedros Alpamayo is enjoyed. Then we descend to the Osoruri camp, which is one of the camps located on a balcony; from there, we continue enjoying the view of the beautiful Los Cedros Alpamayo valley, then in the evening, dinner and rest.

Day 10. Osoruri (4380 m) – Huishcash (4100 m)
This day after breakfast, we start crossing the Toropishtanan pass at 4,850 m. From this pass, the Santa Cruz snow-capped peaks and the beautiful Cullicocha lake can be appreciated. Immediately, we arrive at said lake where we will have a 30-minute stop to eat our snack and continue enjoying the beautiful landscape. After enjoying the beauty of the Andes, we descend to the camp for dinner and rest.

Day 11. Huishcash (4100 m) – Hualcayan (3000 m) – Huaraz - Hotel
Around 8:00 am, after breakfast, we start the hike entirely downhill in a zigzag towards the town of Hualcayan. Here, the transport awaits us for the transfer to the city of Huaraz – hotel.

We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.

- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
- Casa de Guías Rescue Unit, based in the city of Huaraz (Parque Ginebra s/n). The rescue cost must be budgeted beforehand, and if a helicopter is required, it will also be necessary to pay for the service in advance. Website: agmp.pe
