Nevado Tocllaraju
Tocllaraju mountain has a height of 6030 m.a.s.l. and is located within the Ishinca ravine, Huascaran National Park, Cordillera Blanca, in the Peruvian Andes. It is the eighteenth highest mountain in the Cordillera Blanca and the thirty-fourth in Peru. Its summit was conquered on July 31, 1939, by German mountaineers. Today it is the most accessible mountain in the Peruvian Andes. Including the mountains of Urus 5495 m.a.s.l. and Ishinca 5350 m.a.s.l. as acclimatization mountains.
Day 01. Arrival in Lima and Huaraz
Arrival in the city of Lima from the country of origin, same day transfer to the city of Huaraz and hotel
Day 02. Huaraz - Pashpa - Base Camp
Transfer from Huaraz in private transport to Pashpa, from Pashpa we start our walk to the base camp of the Tocllaraju, Urus, and Ishinca mountains at 4,350 masl. The walk lasts 05 to 06 hours.
Day 03. Base Camp - Camp One
We will ascend from base camp to camp one of Nevado Tocllaraju 5,300 masl. Ascent lasts 05 to 06 hours. Via a zigzag path until reaching camp one.
Day 04. Tocllaraju Summit
This day we will ascend at 3:00 am. Guided by a UIAGM high mountain guide along the ridge route until reaching the summit, after the summit return to base camp, the ascent lasts 10 to 11 hours.
Day 05. Return to Huaraz
Return from base camp to Pashpa and Huaraz.

We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.
This reservation will cover the following:
- Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
- Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
- Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
- Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.
The remaining 60% will be paid in Huaraz after you have checked into your hotel. To begin the organization of your expeditions, please contact us for more information.
There are 02 rescue units in Huaraz
- National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
- Casa de Guías Rescue Unit, based in the city of Huaraz (Parque Ginebra s/n). The rescue cost must be budgeted beforehand, and if a helicopter is required, it will also be necessary to pay for the service in advance. Website: agmp.pe
