Day 01. From country of origin to Lima (161 masl) Peru – Huaraz (3100 m)

Arrive in Lima, the capital of Peru, during the day. That same day, you can travel by public bus north to the city of Huaraz (3100 masl); the journey takes about 8 hours. There is also the possibility of flying from Lima to Anta - Ancash. Flight times every day of the week from Lima to Anta - Huaraz are 7:30 am, and Anta to Lima at 9:15 am; on Tuesdays and Thursdays Lima to Anta at 11:15 am and Anta to Lima at 1:14 pm. If you are traveling solely for vacation, at least 2 days of acclimatization are recommended; if you have been traveling through different Andean countries already, the following acclimatization days are not necessary.

Day 02. Full day Paron Lake (4250 masl) – Cordillera Blanca Peru

Departure from Huaraz at 8:00 am for the Paron Lake tour (4,250 masl) heading north, guided by an official tour guide and tourist transport. On the way, we visit Carhuaz (known as the city of ice cream), Yungay (Campo Santo), and Caraz (known for manjar blanco production), then head to Paron Lake. We stay for 3 to 4 hours to climb to the viewpoint and enjoy boat or kayak rides. Return to Huaraz (hotel) between 6:00 and 7:00 pm.

Day 03. Full day Rocutuyoc Lake (4450 masl) – Cordillera Blanca Peru

Departure from Huaraz at 6:00 am for the Rocutuyoc Lake tour (4,450 masl) heading north. We visit the Cashapunta viewpoint showing the Vicos valley and Cordillera Blanca, Ruripaccha waterfall, cave paintings, Rocutuyoc Lake, the frozen lake, and Ruripaccha glacier (4,650 masl). The tour lasts 9 to 10 hours. Return to Huaraz hotel between 6:00 and 7:00 pm.

Day 04. Huaraz (3100) – Vaqueria – Paria 3,900 masl (Camp)

At 5:00 am, we pick you up for a private 2-hour drive to Humacchuco for breakfast. We then continue for 3 hours, visiting the Llanganuco lakes and crossing the Portachuelo de Llanganuco pass, reaching Vaqueria. Here, donkeys and the muleteer await to transport trekking equipment as we begin the walk to Paria camp (3,900 masl).

Day 05. Paria (3900m) - Taullipampa (4250 masl)

Breakfast at 7:00 am, then start the walk through the Huaripampa valley, passing Tsaquicocha and Morococha lakes until reaching the Punta Union pass (4,750 masl). From here, Mount Taulliraju (5830 masl) appears very close, offering a beautiful landscape of the Santa Cruz gorge. We then descend to Taullipampa (4,250 masl) for camp.

Day 06. Taullipampa (4250m) - Llamacoral (3760 masl)

Breakfast at 7:00 am, then begin the walk through the Santa Cruz valley, climbing to the Alpamayo base camp and Arhuaycocha Lake. After visiting these beautiful spots, we descend to Llamacoral camp to share the final dinner and stay overnight.

Day 07. Llamacoral (3760m) - Cashapampa (2900 masl)

Breakfast at 7:00 am, then begin the final descent through the Santa Cruz valley alongside the Yurakmayu River to Cashapampa (2,900 masl). Transport awaits here to transfer you back to your hotel in Huaraz.

Day 08. Huaraz – Lima – Hotel

At the boarding time, we transfer you from the hotel to the bus terminal. After 9 hours, we arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel.

Day 09. Flight Lima – Cusco – Hotel

3 hours before your flight, we transfer you from the hotel to the airport for Cusco. We wait at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. After settling in, you will have time to visit the imperial city.

Day 10. City tours – Sacsayhuaman – Cusco – Hotel

Our tour begins at 12:30 pm with a hotel pick-up. Guided by our expert, we explore the imperial city, visiting the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), built beneath the Santo Domingo Convent. We then leave the city to appreciate the architectural marvel of Sacsayhuaman, followed by Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel at the end of the tour.

Day 11. Full day Sacred Valley VIP

Pick up at 06:30 am to visit Chincheros, the Maras salt mines (over 3,000 pools), and the circular agricultural terraces of Moray (3,450 masl). After a buffet lunch in the valley, we head to Ollantaytambo, the living Inca city, to board the tourist train to Machu Picchu town and your hotel.

Day 12. Cusco - Full day Machu Picchu – Cusco – Hotel

Early breakfast and bus transfer to the Machu Picchu entrance. Enjoy a 2.5-hour guided visit exploring the history of the site. Following free time for photos, we return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take the afternoon train back to Ollantaytambo, where a van waits for the transfer back to Cusco city.

Day 13. Cusco – Puerto Maldonado – Hotel

Between 08:00 and 09:00 am, we transfer you to the bus terminal for Puerto Maldonado. Arriving in Tambopata after a 9 to 10-hour journey, we transfer you to your hotel.

Day 14. Tambopata – Madre de Dios River – Lodge

At 9:30 am, we head to the main port for a 40-minute boat ride down the Madre de Dios River to our lodge. After a welcome regional drink and briefing, we hike into the jungle to see ancient trees and native wildlife. In the afternoon, we kayak on the river and visit an island inhabited by capuchin monkeys. Before dinner, we enjoy a nocturnal boat ride to spot caimans and other mammals like capybaras. Optional bonfire activity at night.

Day 15. Madre de Dios River – Sandoval Lake

At 5:00 am, we visit Sandoval Lake in the Tambopata National Reserve. We hike 3 kilometers to this biodiversity-rich lake, passing macaw clay licks. The lake is home to giant otters, black caimans, and prehistoric birds like the Hoatzin. After a 1:00 pm lunch, we enjoy sport fishing for piranhas and catfish. We conclude the day with a night walk to hear the jungle symphony and spot nocturnal reptiles and insects.

Day 16. Sandoval Lake – Tambopata - Hotel

At 8:00 am, we visit the tapir trail and the 'aguajales' (swampy zones) filled with wild fruits that attract wild pigs, rodents, and toucans. Note: From November to April, this area floods and becomes an anaconda habitat. At 4:30 pm, we return to the city of Puerto Maldonado and your hotel.

Day 17. Flight Puerto Maldonado – Lima

3 hours before your flight, we transfer you to the airport for Lima. We will wait at the Lima airport to transfer you to your hotel.

Day 18. Flight Lima – Country of origin

4 hours before your flight, we transfer you to the airport for your return trip. End of our services.

We recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a better price for you. Prices may vary according to the reservation date and the number of people. After we have reached an agreement on the total expedition price for each program we offer, you may book with a 40% deposit of the total agreed sum for the services.

This reservation will cover the following:

  1. Securing your spot for the scheduled date.
  2. Making transfer ticket reservations for Lima - Huaraz / Huaraz - Lima.
  3. Making hotel reservations for the scheduled dates of your arrival in Lima and Huaraz, according to the itinerary.
  4. Making reservations for guides, assistants, and/or staff for the scheduled date.

There are 02 rescue units in Huaraz
  1. National Police Rescue Squadron, based in the city of Yungay (very close to Huascarán mountain). Phone numbers: 043-493292 / 043-493333. They also have 02 helicopters available.
