Santa Cruz - Llanganuco - Pisco mountain trekking ascension

Arrival in the city of Lima from the country of origin, same day transfer to the city of Huaraz and hotel

Transfer from Huaraz 3,100 masl. In private transport to Cashapampa 2,930 masl. Where we will meet the muleteer and the pack animals to transport the trekking equipment, where we will also begin our hike; after paying the entrance fee of 10 nuevo soles per person charged by the village of Cashapampa for trail maintenance, we start walking through the Santa Cruz valley along the bank of the Yuracmayu River until reaching the Llamacoral camp 3,760 masl. The hike lasts 04 to 05 hours.

Llamacoral 3,760 masl. Taullipampa 4,250 masl. We continue the path through the Santa Cruz valley, elevation gain from camp 490 m. On the way we will visit the lagoons: Jatuncocha and Ichiccocha. After visiting the lagoons we will detour to the Alpamayo lookout where we will observe peaks such as Alpamayo, Quitaraju, Potaca, Aguja, Caraz, Artesonraju, Piramide and Paria; after observing these beautiful snow-capped peaks we continue the path to the camp. Hike lasts 05 to 06 hours.

Taullipampa 4,250 masl. Cachinanpampa 3,600 masl. This day we will cross the Punta Union pass 4,750 masl. Elevation gain from camp to the pass 500 m. From the pass we will observe the entire Santa Cruz valley and the mentioned peaks. After the pass we will descend 1,150 m. through the Huaripampa valley to the camp. The hike lasts 07 to 08 hours.

Cachinanpampa 3,600 masl. Yanapaccha 4,260 masl. We continue the path through the Huaripampa valley to Vaqueria, then from Vaqueria we will start through the Morococha valley to the camp. The journey lasts 05 to 06 hours.

Yanapaccha 4,260 masl. Cebollapampa 3,900 masl. This day we will pass the second pass, Portachuelo 4,767 masl. Elevation gain from camp 507 m. From the pass it is a spectacular panoramic view, where the Llanganuco lagoons and the most famous peaks of the Cordillera Blanca are observed such as Chacraraju, Pisco, Huandoys, Huascaran North and South, and Chopicalqui; after observing these peaks we descend to the camp. The journey lasts 05 to 06 hours.

Cebollapampa 3,900 masl. Lagoon 69 4,650 masl. Huaraz 3,100 masl. This day we will detour to Lagoon 69, then from the lagoon, we continue to the Nevado Pisco base camp 4,680 masl.

This day in the early hours of the morning 3:00 am. We will ascend to reach the summit of Nevado Pisco 5,752 masl. After the summit, return to base camp, the ascent takes approximately 11 to 12 hours.

Today return from base camp to Cebollapampa, where the transport waits for us for the transfer to the city of Huaraz and Hotel. Then, on the scheduled date and time of your return trip to Lima, we transfer from the hotel to the bus terminal, end of our service.
